Conservatories London, Get A Quote

Get in touch with us here in London and we'll have a proper conversation first. No pressure, no sales script. We want to know what you're hoping to get out of the extra space, how your garden sits, and what your home looks like, so that when we do come out, we already have a rough idea of what might suit you.

A lot of customers come to us not entirely sure which style they want. That's completely fine. By the time we've had a chat on the phone, most people have a clearer picture of the direction they want to go.

Your Free Survey and Design Visit

Once you're happy to move forward, we'll arrange a free survey at your home. One of our surveyors will come out, take accurate measurements of the space, and walk the site properly. They'll check things like the existing foundations, drainage, and how the light falls across the area at different times of day.

This isn't a quick visit with a tape measure. The surveyor will go through every option with you in detail, including roof types, glazing specifications, door configurations, and how the internal layout might work. You'll get a full written quote with no hidden additions before you commit to anything.

Choosing the Right Style for Your Home

There are several conservatory styles available, and each one suits a different type of property. Victorian conservatories work well on period homes, with their curved front and decorative ridge details. Edwardian styles give you a more practical square or rectangular footprint, which makes the floor space easier to furnish. Lean-to designs are a strong choice for lower rooflines and smaller gardens, particularly on bungalows and terraced houses.

If you want something with more architectural weight, an orangery might be worth considering. These sit somewhere between a conservatory and a full extension, with solid brick pillars and a flat roof lantern rather than a full glass roof. Fully tiled sunrooms and P-shape or L-shape configurations are also available if your space calls for something less conventional.

Frames come in uPVC, aluminium, or timber effect finishes. uPVC is available in a wide range of colours and woodgrain foils, so you're not limited to white. Aluminium offers slim sightlines and a contemporary feel. All frames are double or triple glazed as standard, and the glass itself carries an A energy rating to keep heat in during winter and manage solar gain in summer.

Roof options include polycarbonate, glass roof panels, solid tiled roofs, and hybrid designs that combine glazed sections with insulated panels. A solid or hybrid roof makes a significant difference to how usable the room is throughout the year, reducing glare and maintaining a stable temperature in a way that a fully glazed roof simply cannot match.

Manufacturing and Lead Times

Once your design is confirmed and your deposit is placed, your conservatory goes into production. Frames and glazed units are manufactured to the exact measurements taken during your survey. Lead times vary depending on the specification and the time of year, but most projects are ready to fit within six to ten weeks of order confirmation.

We'll keep you updated during this period and confirm your installation date in good time so you can plan around it. If you need any adjustments made before manufacture begins, this is the point to raise them. Changes after production starts are not always possible and can affect timescales.

What Happens on Fitting Day

Our installation team will arrive at the agreed time and protect the work area before they start. Base work is usually done on a separate visit ahead of the main fit, so by the time the frames and roof go in, the groundwork is already solid and ready. A typical conservatory installation takes between two and four days depending on the size and complexity of the build.

The team will keep the site tidy as they go and won't leave anything unprotected overnight. At the end of each day you'll know exactly what's been done and what's left to finish. On the final day, the surveyor or project lead will walk through the finished room with you, check every seal, every opening window and door, and make sure you're satisfied before anyone leaves.

Your Guarantee and Aftercare

Every conservatory we install in London carries a ten year guarantee covering the frames, glazing, and roof. If anything develops a fault within that period, call us and we'll come out and sort it. You won't be passed to a call centre or asked to fill in a form online. Just ring the same number you called to get started.

Routine maintenance on uPVC and aluminium frames is minimal. We'll give you straightforward advice on how to keep everything in good order before we leave, including how to lubricate hinges and handles and how to clean the glazing without damaging any coatings.

If you'd like to find out more or arrange your free survey, give us a call today on 0203 504 1862. There's no obligation to go ahead, and the quote is completely free of charge.
